“The history of Black Canadians is one of relentless progress, earned through perseverance, and carried forward by opening doors for so many to follow. This week, we celebrated 30 years of Black History Month in Canada.” —Mark Carney
Rather nice living in a “woke” country. We get to SEE OUR SKELETONS, and tidy up our closets every once in a while, so the rats don’t take over when we’re NOT LOOKING.
And that’s all you need to know about today’s narrative which justifies the policies of an extreme right (a real thing) by claiming exaggeration by an “extreme left” (largely fictitious).
You’re free of course to let your personal skeletons fester, but there are political consequences to keeping our public skeletons hidden away — right?
